Few know that behind splendid façades and tall walls lies many
a green oasis, with rare plants, grottoes, fountains and follies. This
Art Pursuits tour allows you to discover hidden-away treasures, not open
to the public, as well as re-visit some well-known favourites. We will
explore gardens from quattrocento humanist retreats to 19th-century romantic
parks, from grand baroque layouts to the re-creation of Renaissance landscapes
at the beginning of the 20th century.
