This third part of our Art Pursuits Sicilian trilogy will combine spectacular
works of art and architecture with sublime nature. Our base will be the
lively town of Taormina, dominated by its antique theatre, affording
dramatic views over the bay of Naxos and towards Mount Etna. From there
we will visit the cities of Catania and Messina, and cross by ferry to
Calabria to pay homage to the exquisite bronze statues of Riace, the
finest to survive from Greek antiquity. The ascent to Mount Etna will
be the crowning highlight of your Sicilian experience.

This Art Pursuits study tour includes:
