Grand interiors from Louis XIV to the Belle Epoque
30 November – 5 December 2010
Lecturer: Oonagh Kennedy
This tour is a special treat for connoisseurs. It will open doors to
exquisite interiors of French high society from the grand royal style
of Louis XIV to the refined elegance of the Rococo and from the heroic
classicism of Napoleon I to the exuberance of the Belle Epoque. Discover
little-known treasures not open to the general public as well as all-time
favourites, such as the Louvre and Versailles, which always warrant a
closer look.
